Thomas D. Stockland

Attorney Thomas D. Stockland received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (1983) and his Juris Doctorate law degree (1986) from the University of Arkansas. Mr. Stockland went on to earn a Master of Laws in Taxation (1987) from Georgetown University.

Mr. Stockland represents businesses in every phase of their existence, from business formation to business succession planning. Mr. Stockland assists businesses with transactions in employment, real estate, and contractual matters, and represents companies in commercial litigation actions. Mr. Stockland also performs estate planning services, including drafting wills and trusts and assisting clients with probate and estate administration and estate-related litigation.

Mr. Stockland is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit, the U.S. District Courts for both the Eastern and Western districts of Arkansas, and the U.S. Tax Court.

 


Charles S. Trantham

Arkansas native Charles S. Trantham is admitted to practice in the state courts of Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma, in addition to the federal courts of Oklahoma and Missouri. He is also admitted to the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, as well as the U.S. District Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Arkansas State University (1983) and his Juris Doctorate law degree from the University of Arkansas (1986).

Mr. Trantham devotes a large part of his practice to banking and finance law, representing depositors, lenders, and borrowers, as well as financial institutions, in matters ranging from loan workouts and mortgage foreclosures to venture capital matters. Mr. Trantham also represents companies in both the transaction and litigation sides of business and commercial law, and is experienced in all aspects of real estate law, including land use and zoning issues.
